My Journey as a Writer – A Second Chance in New York

Writing has always been one of my greatest passions. As an English teacher and a lover of stories, I wanted to create a novel that would not only entertain readers, but also help students improve their English in a natural and engaging way.

That is how A Second Chance in New York was born — a story about second chances, honesty, personal growth, and life on the streets of New York City.

The novel is written in English at an accessible B1–B2 level, using natural dialogues, useful vocabulary, and a clear yet emotional narrative. My goal was to combine learning and entertainment so that readers could enjoy the story while improving their English comprehension.

Through the character of Leo, I wanted to show that even in the most difficult moments, a single decision can completely change a person’s life.

This book represents the beginning of my journey as a writer, and I hope to continue creating new stories and materials for students and readers around the world.

My Teaching Method

  My teaching method is mainly focused on speaking and real communication. I believe that the best way to learn English is by using it from the very beginning — speaking, listening and practising constantly. That is why in my classes I place much more emphasis on practical conversation rather than excessive memorization of theory.
